very interesting. Quantcast set up a demo for me that I am taking tomorrow. I get pitched every other day on something so I didnt dig in yet to see what it was. Pretty decent top level metrics. Now I know. I wonder what else they have for demo info on the premium level accounts

Gizmodo is easily the worst outlet for news and information about electronics out there.
These numbers are roughly what I expected, but it doesn't stop me being disappointed in my fellow man.

BTW, I didn't mean it as a negative, rather highlighting a measure of relative popularity of the Gawker sites.
I was surprised... no, make that warped. My mind revolves around Jalopnik. I expected to see Jalopnik be the most active by far. Not so much.
I'll just go back to hitting refresh on the front page every 3.8 seconds, and doing the same on Oppo any time I find nothing new on the front page.
I may have a problem. :-)

A lot of people see something "revolutionary" on Gizmodo and post it to their Facebook walls and then it starts to spread like fire, because people like to share "revolutionary" technology.

I think my surprise in these numbers comes from just that. Gawker sites are all set up around Kinja (which I'm in awe of, by the way), and it just seems like the subject matter Jalopnik covers is most augmented by public conversation and debate. It rarely gets political and real information is exchanged.
The Jalopnik community just has such a distinct character, it's hard to believe Jezebel garners almost 3 times the traffic. I hate to knock one of y'all's sister sites but it's absurd Gizmodo is the most traffic out of the entire Gawker Stable. Jalopnik.com is my most visited site, I can tell you that much.
